• Work repectfully and collaboratively with the Mayor,Council, town directors and staff as well as other stakeholders to best represent the residents and business owners of Aurora with integrity, due diligence and a keen focus on improving our quality of life.

 

• Reasonable taxes, fiscal responsibility and value for your tax dollars.

 

• To lead and contribute to decision making processes to facilitate efficient, fiscally responsible, community focused economic and land development initiatives.

 

• To create a "complete community" with best in class, sustainable and affordable subdivision development, parks, recreation and leisure facilities, social services, commercial developments and other services.

 

• Revive the downtown core with a prideful shared vision and a focus on preserving Aurora's unique heritage.

 

• To deliver on accessable transportation, community and social services for our seniors and others facing accessibility challenges.

 

• To work diligently to attract employment opportunities through sustainable businesses in Aurora.

 

• Develop well planned and responsibly costed and funded infrastucture construction and maintenance plans today to serve us well today and for future generations to come.

 

• Protect the Oak Ridges Moraine and all that nature has to offer us by making positive changes to the existing Oak Ridges Moraine Protection legislation which is scheduled for a thorough review in 2015.

 

• Work to develop a community driven partnership between sport, recreation and other organizations in our community to make Aurora a Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L) Champion Community to advance pyhsical literacy for those of all ages and skill levels.
